Hi there!
“And Habeeb, with a voice you can not only hear in the back row but in your soul, made 'Christmas Lullaby soar into the heavens and beyond.”
-Jay Irwin from Broadway World
“Maria Habeeb quietly asserts the wealth of experience Number 46 has in contrast with teammates that follow international news but have only been past their town’s borders to compete in soccer games. Habeeb giver her character a quiet coolness that acknowledges the teammates may be misinformed or naïve but takes it all in her stride, buoyed by the confidence that she does know something about the world.”
- Neal Zoren from Princeton Info
“Maria Habeeb presides effectively over the happy and the heartbreaking, being as merry as a Fezziwig Christmas party when she does her first “Wassail” dance with Scrooge and resigned and resolute when Belle realizes she can no longer compete with Scrooge’s counting house for his loyalty and attention. The scene in which Belle returns Ebenezer’s engagement ring is particularly affecting this year because Habeeb is a charming, life-enhancing Belle.”
